I am a guy living in the Piedmont area of North Carolina. I am retired US Navy and got my computer technology start in 1980. I learned how to operate them, then, slowly but surely started learning how to fix the hardware then the software. Then magically the MAC came into my life. I have always had an affinity with a MAC but could never justify the cost. Then in the mid 1980's the PC came out. Luckily I had command line experiance from Unix. Windows came along and now the newest is Linux.

So in 1996 I was introduced to HTML. Loved it. Taught myself how to do it and landed a new job the last few years in the Navy acting as Senior Web Master for a big North Eastern Command while in Canada. It was there I also learned to Project Manage. I love working with IT groups, whether its strictly hardware or even better, a web application where we also get to customize the backend hardware.

So how did I start just helping people. Well, as computers got cheaper and software prices came down (some of them anyway), I would learn them to fit my needs and many things were more advanced then other people would know how to do. Since I enjoyed teaching classes in my technical rating in the military, learning how to make a quick easy guide for computers and computer software was easy. I enjoyed it (still do) and I do have to be careful not to take over the keyboard and go to fast when showing people how to do what they are asking. Also, trouoble shooting hardware came kind of hand in hand with all this. So I have helped friends and family and co-workers with that too. To cut a long story short, I was working for an IT firm as a contractor and got laid off. I did alot of jobs after that including landscaping but always came back to what I really love doing. Working on web sites, helping people with PC's and Networks and having fun.

I will do the same for you and your software problems or hardware or your home network/machines or small business if you need a cost effective, down to earth fix or training. I work from home so my overhead is little to none. Give me a call at 336-245-8467.
